Can I show up before the scheduled entry time? Please do not show up prior to the entry time (9:30AM for 2019) as the gates will remain closed until that time. Parking/waiting on Riverview Drive is dangerous and to do so is at your own risk, but the gates will remain closed for participant traffic until 930 to allow site/vendor setup and preparation of the area.
When is the latest I can I show up to enter/register? Please arrive no later than 1130 to the park. Registration may take some time and this will allow us to ensure everyone is registered, with professional bridge photo, and in place to open the bridge to pedestrian traffic at 1200.
Will we get a more detailed notice on how traffic flow and setup will occur? Yes, we plan to post on this website, USPS mail, and email all registered participants on the sequence of events and procedures on 05 October, so keep an eye out for it via the multiple media. How do we get there? Via GoogleMaps: If you type in “Old Chain of Rocks Bridge” and select the Riverview Dr, MO one it’ll bring you right there. Of note the first to normally pop up is the “Old Chain of Rocks Bridge -Parking”. If you click that it’ll bring you to the IL side. The bridge is immediately south of the first (Westbound)/last exit (Eastbound) on North 270.
